2007 Spring Fashion

What will the well-dressed fashionable Retro Housewife be wearing this spring? A survey of spring fashions tells us that mod and futuristic Silver Metallics are all the rage, Big Bold Prints from the 80s are back and so are puffy sleeves! (I bet Jerry Seinfeld wishes he had kept his puffy shirt!).

We see something called "Raffia" (a rattan weave) appearing on shoes with canvas and leather, its natural straw color combined with dark hued blues. Here are some examples of Raffia shoes.
 Rosettes (little silk or other cloth roses) are adorning dresses, tops, shoes and bags for a very feminine touch! (time to dig out Aunt Betty's big floppy flower hat?)

The Baby Doll dress has also made a big comeback! Loose, flowing and shortish, if you've got the legs, you've got the look! Pleats and bright colors (I mean really bright!) I've picked out examples that I think are representative of "the Look" this season! Enjoy!
