Dear Retro Housewife,

We are having a murder mystery at the club I work at. Costumes are to be from 40's. My chef and I are trying to get ideas. Also she is looking for ideas for a 40's style dinner menu. Any help or advice would be great. Thank you.

Get into the Tiki party craze with some Mai Tai cocktails, or get creative with your friends and have a 1940s potluck. This would include sugar-free cookies, egg-free cakes, and more. Serve tomato or clam juice as an alternative to an appetizer.
