AMERICAN PIZZA, American

PIZZA DOUGH

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 packet yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar

Warm water and pour yeast into it. Put aside and in another bowl mix salt, flour and sugar. Pour the dissolved yeast mixture into the flour mixture and stir. When the mixture turns into a dough, take it out and knead it on a floured surface. Add flour until the mixture is no longer sticky, then roll into a ball. Put oil in a bowl and place the dough inside. Let rise for about a half an hour.

Ingredients
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 - 5 cloves of garlic
  • Oil
  • 1 pack mozarella
  • Basil
Preparation Instructions

Roll the dough out on an oiled pan. Spread minced garlic out (as much as desired). Put on tomatoes covering the whole pizza. Then add the grated mozarella. Basil can be put on before or after mozarella. Bake at 500 degrees F for about 8 minutes or until crust is cooked through.

Variations: Add pesto before the tomatoes, chopped olives, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, and other toppings taste good on top.
