SIDE DISH

Apple and Prune Stuffing, American

Ingredients
  • Basic Stuffing
  • 3 apples, peeled and chopped (about 2 cups)
  • 1 1/2 cups soft dried prunes, cut in pieces
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
Preparation Instructions

Add apples, prunes, and salt; mix lemon juice with the melted butter and pour over basic stuffing ingredients; toss to blend.
