BAKED GOODSBABKA, PolishIngredients
Preparation InstructionsPut salt in the egg yolks and beat until lemon colored. Add yeast, milk and half the flour. Mix well and leave standing until double in bulk. Add remaining flour, butter, sugar and flavoring. Knead thoroughly. Then let it rise until double in bulk. Punch down and let rise again. Butter a 10-inch tube pan, sprinkle with bread crumbs and fill one-third full with dough. Let rise about 1 hour and bake 40 minutes in a moderate oven (350°).
