SIDE DISH

BEER BATTER FOR VEGETABLES, American

Ingredients
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup beer (room temperature)
Preparation Instructions

Mix together with a spoon and let set for an hour or more. Use any raw vegetables. Sliced carrots, green beans and cauliflower are good. Dip vegetables into batter and fry in deep fat (360 degrees) until brown.
