Caramel Popcorn Balls, American

Burlington Hawk-Eye

Ingredients

• 2 ½ qts. popped popcorn
• 1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
• ¼ cup light corn syrup
• 2 Tbsps. water

Preparation Instructions

Keep popped corn warm. Melt caramels in top of double boiler. Add corn syrup and water and mix until smooth. Slowly pour over popcorn in large bowl or pan, mixing well. Shape into balls. The recipe makes about nine 2 ½ -inch balls.
