DESSERT

CHEESE CAKE, American

Ingredients

    Crust

  • 10 graham crackers
  • 1/8 lb. butter

    • Filling

  • 2 large or 4 small packages of cream cheese
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
  • 2 unbeaten eggs
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
Preparation Instructions

Have cheese at room temperature. Mix ingredients together and beat with an egg beater, putting pineapple in last as it is easier, butter a square baking pan.

Crumble graham crackers and mix with butter until firm enough to line the pan. Pour cream cheese mixture in pan and bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 1 hour. Prepare topping.
