BAKED GOODS

Cheese Cookies For Tea, Hungarian

Ingredients
  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • ¼ lb. butter
  • ¼ lb ground cheese(parmesan)
  • ¼ lb. almonds, blanched and ground
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • ½ tsp. salt

    • Filling

  • ¼ lb butter
  • ¼ lb ground cheese
  • Salt
  • Paprika
Preparation Instructions

Mix all the ingredients well. Knead the spread thin. Cut with 1-inch cutter. Brush all the cookies with egg yolk. Bake until lightly browned in moderate oven. Fill the baked cookies, sandwich style, with the filling mixture:
