APPETIZERCHEESE-FRUIT PASTIES, AmericanIngredients
FILLINGSPreparation InstructionsCream butter and cream cheese thoroughly. Blend in flour and salt. Chill several hours or overnight. Roll dough approximately one-eighth inch thick. Cut into three or four-rounds or squares. For a variety of pasties place one half to one teaspoon bleu cheese and same amount of jelly or mincemeat in center of each round or square; or spread thin apple slices with bleu cheese and proceed as above. Prick with a fork for a decorative touch, if desired. Brush tops with egg. Bake 10 minutes, at 450 degrees. Makes about 36 pasties.
