MAIN COURSE

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING, American

Ingredients
  • 2 packages (3-ounces each) cream cheese
  • ½ cup butter or margarine
  • 1 tablespoon cream or milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 cups confectioners sugar (sift if lumpy)
Preparation Instructions

Combine cream cheese and butter in medium mixing bowl. MICROWAVE 1 to 2 MINUTES ON '2', or until soft but not melted.

With a fork, stir in cream and vanilla. Gradually add sugar until frosting reaches spreading consistency. Frost pumpkin bars. Cut into 2-inch squares.

Goes with: PUMPKIN BARS - Can be used to frost other things too..
