Preparation InstructionsMix and let the dough rise. Roll out and cut with a doughnut cutter. Mix egg yolk with a little milk and sugar. Spread over the edges of the dough. Then proceed with one or more of the following variations. Cream Cheese Filling
Mix the ingredients and spread on the dough. Trim with raisins. Prune Filling
Soak prunes in water overnight, cook in the same water until soft. Remove stones, grind, add powdered cinnamon, rum, lemon rind and cloves. Spread on the dough and decorate with sliced almonds. Nut Filling
Mix sugar and water and bring to a boil, add nuts, sweet cream, vanilla, lemon rind, cloves and bread crumbs. Cut dough in squares , put filling into the center and close. Decorate with raisins.
