Dinner and Your Family

You don't have to be an award-winning actress or world-class painter to enjoy the rich rewards of self-expression. Creativity comes in many forms and one of the easiest ways to awaken your inner artist is in the kitchen. Great chefs know that presentation is almost as important as the meal itself. Dinner Lady

So, when serving your husband and family, don't just plop the food on a paper plate, instead use your prettiest dishes. Get those serving dishes out of the closet, dust them off and use them on the table. Arrange your food in an eye-appealing way and top it with colorful garnishes. Put fresh flowers on the table and ask the children to set the table. This is a great time to make sure that the kiddies know how to set a table properly.

After all, this is one of the few times that the entire family is together in one place.
