DESSERTDIO TORTA (walnut cake), HungarianIngredients
Preparation InstructionsMix eggs yolks with sugar for 20 minutes. Add flour, beaten whites of eggs and ground walnuts. Bake in a greased cake pan in a moderate oven (350°) about 40 minutes. Cool. Cut in half, lengthwise and spread cream between and on top of layers. Whip the pint whipping cream, and combine with the vanilla and remaining 4 ozs. Walnuts and 4 tbsp. sugar.
