Cook rice. Now use one-half of the ingredients and place in layers in a greased casserole, season with salt and pepper. Drain tomatoes and use as 1 layer. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Pour in tomato juice. Season again. Cover with bread crumbs and grated cheese. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
