FRIED TROUT, American

  • Trout
  • 3 tbsp, scalding water
  • Sweet butter
  • Garnish: strawberry leaves, parsley, etc.
  • Parsley
  • Sage

Preparation Instructions

Scrape and clean trout and wash in salt water. Wipe dry. Roll in flour and fry in sweet butter, oleo or salad oil, until brown and crisp. Remove from frying pan and lay on well heated dish.
