APPETIZER

GEFÜLLTE TOMATEN (Filled Tomatoes), German

Ingredients
  • 6 large ripe tomatoes
  • About 10 tbsp. Fleischsalat (see previous recipe)
  • Mayonnaise
  • Parsley
Preparation Instructions

Cut off top of tomatoes, carve out inside, fill with meat salad, put top back on tomatoes and garnish with dabs of mayonnaise and parsley leaves. Very good for hors d'oeuvre. Serves 6.

Goes with: Fleischsalat Recipe - Fleischsalat is used to stuff the tomatoes in this recipe..
