MENUHallowe'en Guest Dinner, AmericanSTAGE THIS INFORMAL BUFFET for six in the living room or family room, preferably near a fire-place. It's fun to serve on a large, low table (like a coffee table), with your guests sitting on cushions. The pumpkin may be used as a container for the carrot soup. Start the soup and the sundae the morning or the night before the dinner. If you plan to serve the soup in the pumpkin, cut out the top and clean out the seeds no more than 5 hours in advance of dinner. A couple of hours before serving, set the table and prepare the Savory Cheese Pie; pop the pie in the oven about 30 minutes before your guests are due. After assembling the pie, make the salad (reserve dressing) and refrigerate. Cook broccoli and heat the soup just before serving. Menu Items
