BEVERAGES

HOT MULLED CIDER, American

Ingredients
  • 1 gallon cider
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 lemons sliced
  • 4 pieces stick cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp. whole cloves
  • 1 tbsp. allspice
Preparation Instructions

Mix cider, sugar and salt. Place spices in cheesecloth and put into cider. Heat, let simmer 20 minutes. Pour in punch bowl and add lemon slices. Serve hot. Serves 24.
