SALAD

Hot Turkey Salad, American

The JOURNAL thanks all who sent in recipes for the special Christmas Recipe Section. Without these recipes, the section would not have been possible. The COMMERCE JOURNAL, Commerce, Texas, Thursday, December 16, 1971

Ingredients
    Combine tossing until well mixed:
  • 2 c. diced cooked turkey
  • 2 c. diced celery
  • ½ c. slivered toasted almonds
  • ½ t. salt
  • 2 t. grated onion
  • 2 T. lemon juice
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
Preparation Instructions

Pile lightly into greased 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with ½ c. grated American cheese and 1 c. crushed potato chips. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Serve at once. Makes 6 servings
