DESSERTKURABIEDES (Butter Cookies), GreekIngredients
Preparation InstructionsMelt butter over very low heat. Take a piece of cheese cloth and fold into two folds. Strain butter through this into a bowl. Beat thoroughly until creamy white. Add brandy sugar, almonds, vanilla and mix. Add flour -- as much as required for dough to be formed. Knead. Roll into crescent pieces or any other shape desired and put in baking sheet. Bake in a slow oven (300°). Do not let them turn brown. Cookies should be an off-white color when done.
