RECIPES FROM THE RETRO HOUSEWIFE
SIDE DISHLEBERKNOEDEL (Liver Dumplings), GermanThis, Kartoffelknoedel and Semmelknoedel are some of my favorite German side dishes! Serve it with one of the German roasts, and make sure you have plenty of gravy! Ingredients
Preparation InstructionsPrepare the liver by removing the tough membranes and tubes and chop very fine. Add eggs, grated bread rolls, flour, thyme, salt and pepper and mix well. Bring hot water to a boil and add a little salt. Make (with a large tablespoon) balls of the liver mixture and put into the boiling salted water.
