DESSERTLEMON SAUCE, AmericanIngredients
Preparation InstructionsBeat egg, add sugar, nutmeg and lemon rind. Combine lemon juice and water, add to sugar mixture. Heat until boiling, stirring constantly. Add butter and cook for 5 minutes stirring until butter blends evenly into sauce. Serve hot over steamed pudding. Makes almost 2 cups sauce.
