RECIPES FROM THE RETRO HOUSEWIFE

SALAD

MIZERIA (Cucumber Salad), Polish

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. cucumbers
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt, pepper and sugar to taste
  • 1 tsp. wine vinegar or lemon
Preparation Instructions

Peel cucumbers and cut them into very thin slices. Salt and let them stand until tender. Drain them thoroughly. Pour sour cream mixed with a little sugar and wine vinegar (or lemon) over cucumbers. Powder with freshly grated black pepper or finely chopped fresh dill.
