Moscow Mule, American

Every summer, KegWorks is lucky enough to take a "working vacation" to New Orleans for a week of drinking (and talking business) at the legendary Tales of the Cocktail festival. As we clink glasses with admired mixologists from around the world, we're soaking up tons of their secrets and we can't wait to share.

Ingredients
  • 1½ oz vodka
  • 3 oz ginger beer
  • 1 tsp simple syrup
  • ¼ oz lime juice
  • 1 sprig mint
  • 1 slice lime
Preparation Instructions

In your copper mug, pour vodka over ice. Add simple syrup and lime juice. Top with ginger beer and stir. Garnish with mint sprig and lime slice.
