DESSERTNORSK JULEKAKE (Norwegian Christmas Cake), NorwegianIngredients
Preparation InstructionsDissolve yeast cakes 1 tbsp, sugar and 1 tbsp. flour in ½ cup lukewarm (scalded; milk. Melt batter, add sugar, cardamom seeds and lukewarm milk. Mix in the flour and yeast mixture and beat well. Let rise for 2 hours. Then mix in citron and raisins. Pour into tube or bread forms (greased) and brush top with melted butter. Let rise again.
