DESSERTNUSSTORTE (Nut Tart), GermanIngredients
Preparation InstructionsCakeMix ground nuts, almonds, sugar, egg yolks and a little water, and beat until fluffy. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add baking powder to flour and sift. Add egg whites and flour alternately to nut mixture. Put into greased springrorm. Bake 40 minutes in a moderate oven (350°)IcingMix 2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar with 2 or 3 tbsp. water or thin cream and add 2 tsp. rum. Beat well. Spread icing over cake while warm.
