Preparation InstructionsUsing a large kettle, boil first four ingredients together until mixture reaches thread stage (238˚ of candy thermometer). Then add butter and peanuts. Stir, cook until golden brown (300˚ on a candy thermometer). Remove from heat and add baking soda. This will bubble up. Mix well and pour onto a well greased enamel tabletop to cool.
