BAKED GOODS

Pie Shell, American

Ingredients
  • 2 cups flour
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 2/3 cup shortening
  • 5 tbsp. cold water
Preparation Instructions

Cut shortening into flour until it forms lumps pea-size. Add salt and water, and mix until it holds together. Form half into a ball and roll out on a floured board about ¼ inch thick. Line an 8-inch pie tin.
