RECIPES FROM THE RETRO HOUSEWIFE

SALAD

PRETTY PINK GELATIN SALAD, American

Ingredients
  • 1 small pkg. mixed fruit gelatin
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. creamed cottage cheese
  • 1 8-oz can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 72 colored miniature marshmallows
  • ½ pt. whipping cream, whipped
Preparation Instructions

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Chill until it jells. Fold in cottage cheese and pineapple. Let stand again until it jells. Fold in marshmallows and whipped cream. Fill 5-cup mold.
