Nutty Nibbles Delight to Hostess And Guests Too"Nutty Nibbles" are what you call them but it's a smarty hostess who serves them as appetizers; sandwiches, with soup: cut slice of rye bread into finger lengths: spread bread with some prepared horseradish mustard, then a mixture of ½ cup ground cooked ham, a tablespoon of chili sauce and a fourth-cup Brazil nuts (sliced). Top with second slice of bread, toast serve hot.

I would like to thank Newspaperarchive for putting together such a fabulous service, and placing our Nation's history right at our fingertips. Many of these wonderful recipes are ones I stumbled upon quite by accident while sleuthing through the decades in my quest to assemble the world of the American housewife. RH
