MAIN COURSE

ROAST DUCK, Czechoslovakian

Ingredients
  • Duck
  • Salt
  • Caraway seeds
Preparation Instructions

Wash the duck, put salt and caraway seeds on the outside and inside, add a little water and roast in a moderate oven 350. Baste often. When the duck is tender, leave it in a hot oven for a few minutes to brown.

Serve with stewed red cabbage, Czech dumplings or with mashed or roasted potatoes, apple sauce or sour cherries.
