RECIPES FROM THE RETRO HOUSEWIFE

SAUCES

SHRIMP SAUCE, American

Ingredients
  • 1 level tbsp, finely chopped parsley
  • 2 or 3 tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 heaping tbsp, finely chopped green onions, tops, as well
  • Salt and fresh ground pepper
  • 4 level tbsp. creole mustard (If cannot get creole mustard, use any hot mustard with some horse-radish)
  • 1 heaping tbsp. finely chopped celery
  • 2 tbsp. catsup
  • 4 to 6 tbsp, olive oil
Preparation Instructions

Mix with electric mixer and keep in refrigerator.
