APPETIZER

SOUTHERN CHEESE LOG, American

Ingredients

• 1 cup or 4 oz, pecans
• 1/2 tsp. soy sauce
• 2 cloves garlic
• 1/8 tsp. salt
• 6 oz. cream cheese
• 4 drops tabasco sauce
• 1/8 tsp. worcestershire sauce

Preparation Instructions

Through medium blade of food chopper put pecans and garlic. Combine cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and Tabasco sauce. Add pecans and garlic to this mixture and mix well. Shape into roll 5" x 1 1/2". Sprinkle 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder evenly over waxed paper. Roll log, coating evenly; wrap and chill for 4 hours.
