RECIPES FROM THE RETRO HOUSEWIFE

APPETIZER

SPECIALLY PREPARED VINEGAR, Russian

Ingredients
  • 1 bottle vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. salt
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • Chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp. peppercorns
  • 1 or 2 laurel leaves
  • 5 or 6 cloves
  • 1 small peeled garlic clove
Preparation Instructions

Boil the above ingredients together. Use to make pickled fish.
