SIDE DISH

Sweet Potatoes, American

Ingredients
  • One tablespoon butter
  • Sweet potatoes
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Milk
  • Cinnamon
Preparation Instructions

Melt one tablespoon butter and put the peeled raw sweet potatoes in a saucepan, turning until they have absorbed all the butter. Sprinkle with a little salt and one tablespoon, sugar. Almost cover with milk and let boil until tender or until they have almost boiled dry. Serve with melted butter over the tops and a fine sprinkling of cinnamon.
