My mother always says that since I was born on Nov. 26, Thanksgiving is to give thanks for me. That's hardly what the pilgrims planned on. To me, thanksgiving is a day set aside by the U.S. to give thanks for the Lord, thier country, thier freedom. It's a time to reflect on how lucky and blessed we are to live in a free country.
